Out of this World Pulled Pork
Ingredients

BRINE
-
6 cups of cold water
-
1/2 cup of salt
-
1/2 cup brown sugar
-
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
-
2 tsp onion powder
-
2 tsp paprika
-
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
​
PORK BUTT
-
2 pork butts
-
your favorite rub
-
your favorite BBQ Sauce
-
Apple Juice
-
Mix brine ingredients into 6 cups of cold water
-
add pork butts into brine
-
refrigerate overnight (8 to 12 hours)

Next morning remove pork butts from brine and pat dry
-
cover pork butts with rub and make sure you rub a generous amount all over
-
start your grill and set temp to 225ºF
-
smoke for 5 hours occasionally spritzing and injecting a mixture of brine and apple juice on and into butts
-
When 5 hours has completed and internal temp reached around 165ºF remove roasts from grill
-
crank grill temp to 250ºF
-
Wrap pork butts with foil with the apple juice and brine mixture
-
Cook on grill until internal roast temp reaches 205ºF
-
Once internal temp has been reached remove from grill and let sit for ½ hour
-
Remove roasts from foil and start to completely shred them to pieces using claws or forks
-
Add more rub to the pulled pork and mix well
-
add a generous amount of BBQ sauce to meat and mix well.
