Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Burgers

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs lean hamburg meat

  • 1 lbs cheese of your choice cubed.

  • 1 lbs bacon strips

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • BBQ Sauce

  • hamburger buns

  • Place hamburg meat in a large bowl and seasoned with salt and pepper

  • cubed the cheese in 3/4" cubes

  • form patties to the size you want.  You will need to 2 thin patties to make up one hamburger

  • lay 1st patty down and place 4 cheese cubes on top of it.

  • Place 2nd patty on top of cheese and seal the sides with your hands

  • place 4 strips on bacon overlapping each other on a cutting board

  • placed cheesed stuffed patty over bacon strips.

  • using your hands gently roll patty and bacon making sure patty is completely sealed with the bacon

  • close out ends with 1 more piece of bacon.

  • start your grill on medium high

  • place burgers on grill and cooked until meat internal temperature reaches 135 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • apply generous amount of BBQ sauce and return to heat

  • butter your hamburger buns and place on grill to heat

  • once your hamburger buns are to your liking remove from heat

  • once cooked remove your cheese bacon wrapped burgers and let sit for 10 minutes or so

  • trim you burger to your liking with tomatoes, onions, and condiments
